Very high impedance, isolated pH amplifier and probe new
pH amplifier and probeThe pH measurement is treated a little differently in thepH amplifier in junction boxCDi due to the extremely high resistance of the pH glass. The minute current produced by the probe cannot be reliably transmitted over long cable runs. Therefore the amplifier is taken out, and placed in close proximity of the probe.
dotOutput: -600mV to +600mV for 0-14pH. Low-impedance output allows long cable runs.
You Get:
dotGalvanically isolated amplifier and enclosure.
dotQuick connector with 4 gold contacts.
Options:
dotShielded, 4-wire instrumentation cable.
BNC Cable Entry
pH BNC Cable EntrydotTo simplify probe attachment and seal-out humidity, we use a slit grommet type of fitting.
pH Temperature Dependency
dotThe pH amplifier hardware was specifically designed for intensive aquaculture applications, where pH is maintained at a value of around 7.00 (+- 0.2pH) and temperature at about 30C (+-5degC).
dotIn order to reduce circuit complexity (price), hardware temperature compensation is not implemented in this design.
dotThe table shows pH temperature dependency at pH values around 7.00pH is negligible.
